I used to attend Life Point Church Adelaide and during my experience of the church I was shocked at the ungodly an unbiblical way this church conducted itself. Life point Church has recently had its name changed, it used to be  called Miracle City Church and because there had never been any miracles a change of name was required. This is not being negative but rather truthful.

Their pastor David Hall is a well-known fraud in his home country Australia. There was an incident when David Hall was running an elderly woman with arthritis up and down the stage and she fell over and complained David had been dragging her and she was now in pain. I felt compassion for the lady that genuinely wanted a miracle and had put her trust in this fraudster.

A Shortage of miracles is not the only problem for Life Point Church, recently their worship leader admitted he had been, and still was a long-term homosexual. Before this sin was exposed David Hall had complimented his worship leader many times saying he liked him because he always fell down when David prayed for him. Another incident arose when a youth pastor was invited to takeover the youth of Life Point Church. The new youth pastor had an eye for young women and immediately began a sexual relationship with a young 19-year-old girl. Eleven months later this issue rose to the surface and the youth “pastor” was found out. Attempts were made to cover up the issue by not making public what happened and only revealing that they were dismissing the sinner from his role of leadership because of an anonymous incident.

Women in the church, including, female leaders dress shamefully and this attracts men to the church. I became aware of many people sleeping around, getting drunk and going to pubs on the weekends. It was clear to me that this “church” full of “christians” was more interested in the party scene.

There is a strong drive for money in the church, at times they get you to raise your hand or walk up the front if you are going to put money in the bucket. This then reveals to everyone who is and who is not regularly giving money. For a while they also had see through buckets, so that you would be “challenged” about your giving.

David Hall and the deacons of Life Point Church have very little understanding of the scriptures and often blunder about, speaking rubbish. Nothing but froth and babble is preached in the church pulpit, centered on jokes and mockery of other denominations and individual persons. David’s excuse for not having bible knowledge is that he is a spiritual man filled with the Holy Spirit and scripture knowledge is not his field. Speaking on holiness and righteousness is considered legalistic, and doctrine and theology is called demonic and considered contrary to the Holy Spirit. Scripture is not the final authority, only what is popular is of concern in this Church. This scripture kept on ringing in my mind “Be Holy Like I Am Holy”

In Short; my experience at Life Point Church in Adelaide was eye opening, and helped me to understand that we are in the last days. This is not God’s Church because if it were, God’s Word would be honored, but instead God’s Word is despised.

I realise that this might come across critical, but I have told the truth. I have also provided a link to other ministries on the right that I have personally investigated and have found to be excellent ministries.
